Founder & Director
Dr. Hasan Kurban
Dr. Hasan Kurban is an Assistant Professor at Hamad Bin Khalifa University and the Founder and Director of the Kurban Intelligence Lab. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Indiana University Bloomington. He also serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Indiana University Bloomington.
His expertise includes foundation models, agentic AI, multimodal learning, representation learning, and symbolic time-series modeling. His research focuses on developing robust, generalizable AI systems for scientific and engineering applications.
